APC Governorship Candidate Adeola Presents New HiAce Bus To Ogun NUJ

OLORUNDARE ENIMOLA, Lagos

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has fulfilled his promise to support the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, with the presentation of a brand-new 18-seater Toyota HiAce bus to the union.

The vehicle was handed over to the union shortly after Senator Adeola’s visit to the NUJ Secretariat, where he pledged to provide support towards improving the union’s operations.

Presenting the key to the bus on behalf of the APC candidate, his Personal Assistant, Otunba Niyi Sanusi, said the gesture reflected Senator Adeola’s commitment to honouring his promises and strengthening relationships with critical stakeholder groups across the state.

Sanusi noted that the donation was part of the candidate’s broader commitment to supporting institutions and organisations that contribute to the development of Ogun State.

Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the NUJ executive and members, the council’s Chairman, Comrade Akinwale Olanrewaju, expressed appreciation to Senator Adeola for the intervention.

Olanrewaju described the donation as a timely support that would enhance the union’s mobility, administrative activities and overall operations, while assuring the governorship candidate of the union’s continued goodwill.

The NUJ leadership commended the gesture, noting that the provision of the bus would further strengthen the capacity of the council to carry out its responsibilities effectively.
