PDP Reps Candidate Begins 2km Road Project In Bauchi Community

BAUCHI – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for the Shira/Giade Federal Constituency in Bauchi State, Zaraddeen Aminu, has flagged off the construction of a two-kilometre road in Zirami, Giade Local Government Area.

Speaking during the inauguration of the project on Wednesday, Aminu said the initiative was aimed at improving access to communities and supporting agricultural activities in the area.

Although he currently holds no public office, the PDP candidate said he was committed to addressing the developmental needs of his constituents and pledged to implement more projects if elected.

He described infrastructure development as a core value of the PDP, noting that the party had a long-standing record of delivering public projects.

Aminu said his future representation would focus on community development rather than personal interests, adding that he would advocate for the extension of the road project beyond the initial two kilometres.

He also disclosed that similar projects would be executed in other parts of Bauchi State based on the needs of local communities.

Explaining why the project commenced in Zirami, Aminu said he chose to begin in his hometown, stressing that leadership should start with setting an example.

The PDP governorship candidate in Bauchi State, Usman Sufi, commended Aminu for undertaking what he described as a multimillion-naira project despite not occupying any government position.

Sufi said the initiative demonstrated Aminu’s commitment to community service and expressed confidence that he would deliver more developmental projects if elected.

He urged residents of the Shira/Giade Federal Constituency to support the PDP in the forthcoming elections, assuring them of the party’s commitment to delivering democratic dividends through people-oriented projects.
