FRSC Appeals For Support To Reduce Road Crashes

The unit commander emphasised that road safety is a collective responsibility, calling for all hands to be on deck to ensure safety on Nigerian roads.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Badagry unit command, in Lagos has urged road users to support efforts to reduce accidents on the state’s highways.

The unit commander, Yusuf Sanni, made the appeal in an interview with journalists on Saturday in Badagry.

He emphasised that road safety is a collective responsibility, calling for all hands to be on deck to ensure safety on Nigerian roads.

“The unit command runs an open-door policy. Anyone with positive ideas on reducing road crashes in Badagry is always welcome,” Mr Sanni said.

He urged road transport unions to educate members on obeying traffic rules, noting that it will help maintain safe roads for everyone.

“I also call on all motorists to corporate with our officers during lawful duties on highways,” Mr Sanni said.
