TRACE Issues Traffic Advisory Ahead Of Celestial Church Of Christ Christmas Convocation

OLORUNDARE ENIMOLA, Lagos

The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Annual Christmas Convocation scheduled to hold from Saturday, December 20 to Friday, December 26, 2025, at Imeko, Ogun State.

In a press release signed by the agency’s spokesperson, Commander Babatunde Akinbiyi, TRACE noted that the convocation is expected to attract a high volume of human and vehicular traffic due to the series of activities lined up for the annual gathering.

The agency therefore urged members of the Celestial Church of Christ, guests, and other participants travelling from within and outside the country to strictly observe traffic rules and regulations. TRACE warned that non-compliance, including traffic obstruction, route violations, and reckless driving, could result in avoidable congestion, loss of man-hours, and heightened risk to other road users.

Commander Akinbiyi assured the public that TRACE operatives, in collaboration with other security and safety agencies, would be deployed at major entry and exit points around the convocation venue to manage and regulate traffic flow, as well as ensure overall safety and security before, during, and after the event.

He added that the measures are aimed at guaranteeing the safety of lives and property and ensuring smooth vehicular movement throughout the duration of the convocation.

Members of the public requiring urgent traffic-related assistance during the period are advised to contact TRACE through the following emergency lines: 0803 491 9165 and 0803 844 4722.
