Yayi Announces Completion Of Olomu–Ososun Road In Ogun

Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has announced the completion and delivery of the Olomu–Ososun Road in Constituency 1, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Adeola, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 election in the state, disclosed this in a post on his X account on Sunday, describing the project as another fulfilled commitment aimed at improving transportation and the living conditions of residents.

He said the road was previously in a deplorable condition, making movement difficult and disrupting economic activities in the affected communities.

According to him, the poor state of the road posed significant challenges to motorists, traders and residents who relied on it for their daily activities.

“Today, we have changed that narrative through the successful reconstruction of this important road, restoring accessibility, improving connectivity and making daily movement easier and safer for our people,” he stated.

The senator stressed that good road infrastructure remained essential to economic growth, community development and improved living standards.

He added that infrastructure projects should be designed to address the practical needs of residents and provide lasting benefits to communities.

Adeola described the completion of the Olomu–Ososun Road as evidence of his commitment to delivering development projects across Ogun State.

“For us, development is not merely about making promises; it is about delivering projects that improve lives and transform communities. We remain committed to doing more,” he said.

The road project is expected to improve connectivity within the affected communities, ease the movement of people and goods, and support commercial activities in the area.

Adeola reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing initiatives focused on infrastructure development and improving the welfare of residents across the state.
