TRACE Officer Bags PCRC Award for Outstanding Service

OLORUNDARE ENIMOLA, Lagos

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Adatan Area Command, has honoured a Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) officer, Mr. Afolabi Oladotun, with the award of Best TRACE Officer of the Year 2025 in recognition of his outstanding service, dedication and commitment to community partnership.

The award, presented under the leadership of the PCRC Chairman, Hon. Akinlabi Taiwo, includes a Certificate of Honour and a cash donation of One Hundred Thousand Naira (₦100,000). Mr. Oladotun is attached to the Divisional TRACE Command, Obantoko.

Presenting the award at the TRACE Headquarters, the Acting TRACE Commander General/Chief Executive, Cdr. Elias Adedayo Omonayajo, represented by the Director of Administration and Supplies, Alhaji Abubakar Adeduntan, expressed appreciation to the PCRC, Adatan Area Command, for recognising diligence, selflessness and professionalism in public service.

Cdr. Omonayajo noted that the recognition underscores the importance of integrity and commitment in service delivery, adding that such gestures serve as motivation for officers to remain dedicated to their duties.
He further admonished the awardee and other TRACE operatives to continue to uphold sincerity and dedication in the discharge of their responsibilities, stressing that individuals and institutions are constantly observing their conduct for commendation and accountability.

Members of the TRACE Management Team present at the event included the Director of Finance and Accounts, Mr. Akeem Sanusi; Head of Planning, Research and Statistics, Cdr. Olusola Ojuori; Head of Specialised Training, Cdr. Morolake Filani; Area Commander, Obantoko and Odeda, Cdr. David Abiola; and the Divisional TRACE Commander, Obantoko, Cdr. Agnes Odeyemi.
