Air Peace Opens Executive Lounge At MMIA2

Air Peace has reinforced its commitment to comfort and service excellence with the unveiling of a new Executive Lounge at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 (MMIA2), Lagos.

A statement on Monday by the Communications Manager, Air Peace, Efe Osifo-Whiskey, said the facility, inaugurated on February 14, 2026, signalled an enduring dedication to elevating premium travel experience across its expanding domestic, regional and international network.

The statement hinted that the Valentine’s Day launch ceremony attracted senior management of the airline and first and business class passengers, including travellers on its London route.

A former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, who was at the event, commended the airline’s steady growth and investment in quality infrastructure.

He stated that the executive lounge was designed to deliver an enhanced pre-flight experience and provide a modern and serene environment tailored to premium passengers.

With a seating capacity of over 39 guests, the cream-toned facility features six ergonomic recliner chairs aimed at ensuring comfort and relaxation before departure.

“The lounge also integrates productivity and leisure. It boasts a dedicated workspace equipped with computer monitors and printing facilities, alongside two private meeting areas furnished with tablets and headphones for virtual conferences or personal use.

“An entertainment section with a large television complements a fully stocked bar offering pastries, soft drinks and assorted beverages,” the statement added.

Speaking at the unveiling, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nowel Ngala, described the project as a strategic investment that emphasised the airline’s focus on customer-centric growth.
