Item Community Commends Kalu Over Umuakpaeme Road Project

Residents of Umuakpaeme Item in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State have praised the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Orji Uzor Kalu, following the award of a contract for the construction of the Umuakpaeme Road.

The commendation was made during the community’s mid-term meeting, where the President-General of Umuakpaeme Item, Shedrack Okpa Ogbonnaya, described the road project as a significant development that would improve the community.

Ogbonnaya expressed gratitude to Senator Kalu for facilitating the project and prayed for continued success and divine blessings for the lawmaker. He also acknowledged those working with the senator to ensure the delivery of the project.

He assured the senator that the community would closely monitor the construction and provide regular updates until its completion.

Also speaking at the meeting, Port Harcourt-based Nollywood actor Chinedu Iheanacho described the award of the two-kilometre road project as a welcome development, noting that it would positively impact residents of the area.

Another community member, Ajah Ukaegbu, commended Senator Kalu for the initiative and expressed optimism that the project would be completed as planned. He reaffirmed the community’s support for the senator.

Similarly, Chief Chima Ikwegbu and Chief Ajah Chukwu offered prayers for Senator Kalu, thanking him for supporting the community and pledging their continued backing.
