Lagos Announces Postponement of Rehabilitation Works on Lekki–Ajah Corridor
OLORUNDARE ENIMOLA, Lagos
The Lagos State Government has announced the postponement of the planned rehabilitation works on the Lekki–Ajah corridor, earlier scheduled to begin on Saturday, 15 November 2025.
According to a press statement from the State Ministry of Transportation the government said, a new commencement date will be communicated to the public in due course.
While announcing that preliminary activities will continue until the end of the month, full-scale rehabilitation will not commence until the revised schedule is released.
The State Government appealed for the patience and understanding of motorists and residents, reaffirming its commitment to improving road infrastructure and ensuring safer, more efficient transportation across Lagos.
