LarryBash Hosts APC Executives To Ramadan Iftar, Gains Support For Reps Bid
OLORUNDARE ENIMOLA, Lagos
High Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun, popularly known as LarryBash, on Monday hosted executive members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State to a Ramadan Iftar, drawing commendation and renewed support for his House of Representatives aspiration.
The event, held at his residence, brought together key local government party officials, including the chairman, secretary, women leader, legal adviser and auditor, among others, who gathered to break the fast in the spirit of Ramadan.
Beyond its religious significance, the Iftar provided a platform for party stakeholders to assess the growth of the APC in the area and acknowledge Bashorun’s contributions to party development within the constituency.
Speaking at the event, the APC Chairman in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. J.J. Akeran, expressed appreciation to party leaders and paid tribute to the Olota of Ota, Oba Prof. Abdulkadir Obalanlege, for his support towards the development of the kingdom.
Akeran commended Bashorun for his initiatives and commitment to the progress of the constituency, describing him as a leader with the capacity for effective representation at the National Assembly.
He noted that the gathering further strengthened unity and collaboration among party stakeholders.
Also speaking, the APC Women Leader in the local government, Hon. Waliat Ogunbiyi, praised Bashorun’s generosity and leadership style, describing him as a grassroots politician committed to empowerment and development.
She reaffirmed the support of party members for his political ambition.
In his remarks, Bashorun expressed appreciation to party leaders and members for their attendance and support, while also acknowledging Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and other stakeholders for their encouragement.
He reiterated his commitment to public service and pledged to deliver effective representation if elected.
“I remain committed to serving our people and contributing to the development of our constituency,” he said.
The event was attended by several APC officials, including the party secretary, legal adviser, auditor, welfare secretary, organising secretary, and other stakeholders.
Prayers were offered for peace, unity and progress in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Ogun State and the country at large.
