One person has been confirmed dead following a road traffic crash that occurred in the early hours of today at Eleko Junction along the Lekki–Epe Expressway, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Lagos Sector Command.
The crash involved a commercial Bajaj motorcycle and a private Toyota Camry. The motorcycle, with registration number KSF 813 QR, collided with the Toyota Camry, registration number LSD 514 HX, resulting in the death of one of the two adult male occupants involved in the incident.
The Lagos Sector Public Education Officer of the FRSC, Superintendent Route Commander Oluwadamilola Jayeola, attributed the crash to speed violation and loss of control.
