The roads that are expected to be commissioned by the wife of the president are the dual carriage, Ishaya Bakut road; off Ishaya Bakut road (Spur 1, 2 and 3); Abu King Shuluwa road and Mama Mbateren Alia street (former Keke Napep road).

Kula explained that “The visit forms part of the Renewed Hope Initiative, a nationwide programme dedicated to empowering women, strengthening families, and improving the well-being of vulnerable groups across the country.
“While in Benue, the First Lady will engage with women and beneficiaries of the initiative as part of efforts to deepen its impact at the grassroots.”
Kula also noted that while Governor Alia expressed pleasure at the visit and is looking forward to receiving the first lady, he observed that the visit is another positive step in the collaborative efforts of the Federal and State Governments to improve the lives of citizens, especially women and families.
Furthermore, he explained that after commissioning projects in the state capital, Senator Tinubu will proceed to Ihugh, where she will perform the commissioning and handover ceremony of the Community ICT Centre.
Also, Mrs Scholastica Bensor, Benue State Coordinator, Office of the First Lady and Benue State Coordinator, Renewed Hope Initiative, said in order to ensure a successful outing, all arrangements have been perfected to receive the first lady on the visit.
She therefore called on women, community leaders, support groups, and members of the public to turn out in large numbers to receive the First Lady and demonstrate the warmth, hospitality, and unity for which the Benue people are known.
